Nintendo's Gameboy is the most well known portable gaming device in the world. Originally released in the late 80's it has sold more than any other portable game console in the world. Several years later Nintendo released the "color" version of the all time classic! Below are official VBA downloads. Probably the best Gameboy Advance emulator available.
Jonc2006 i think cellphones can make people go stupid. you wouldnt believe how many stupid people i know who get into car accidents left and right because they are retarded enough to talk on them while driving.a few months ago i had a lady a side-swipe my car and take off one of my side mirrors while changing lanes on the ****ing beltway because she had the mindset that talking on a cellphone while driving was a bright idea. dont know about cancer though.
Cid Highwind In my search for the perfect monitor I have limited my selection down to two models, namely the HP w2207 and the LG 226-WA.
There's one major difference apart from some others I'll sum up, and that's the HP having a glossy coating. I would really like to know if any of you have any experience with it. On my CRT I can see myself sitting if looking at a black background, as how I can see the closet behind me. But it's not visible obviously enough for me to notice it when browsing forums or playing games. Normal LCD panels don't have this problem, but with this glossy coating I really don't have an idea how bad it is compared to CRT monitors.
The other differences are:
- HP having pivot (sole reason why I want this are some Dreamcast games )
- LG supporting component input and 1:1 mapping of 720p signals, no stretching.
- The LG is €20,- more expensive at €350. Both can have a wall mount
RPGW1ZaRD Ahh ok, haven't looked into it just seen it's rather popular. I don't live in Germany but Finland but since it's within EU (which means no custom fees) and cheapest in europe when it comes to computer hardware I often order from there which I did now as well when I ordered my upgrade yesterday. I wouldn't of course order from there if I was looking for only 1 or 2 hardware parts but if it becomes more major upgrades or a completely new comp then I choose Germany to save sometimes up to a couple of 100€. This rig in my signature I won like 250-300€ I calculated ordering from Germany instead of Finland but yea prices suck here! And then Germany has more often a bigger selection of hardware compared to onlineshops from this country as well.
MrPink three days ago my evga 8800gtx and supreme commander arrived in the mail, too bad by the time i had the former installed i had to go to work until 11pm. of course i didn't go to bed when i got home, i tried several of my games out (after discovering with relief that my older mobo accepted the gtx without a bios update). it was pretty surreal to be able to play everything with maxed out graphics and have no lag. seriously, this is the way games like FEAR, supreme commander, etc. are meant to be played, and yet we must pay hundreds of dollars before being able to truly enjoy the game? it is not b.s., fore this is what defines a pc enthusiast. that said, i will tell that i was not only excited to be playing all of my games with buttery framerates and extreme anti-aliasing and hdr saturation, but i was equally excited to just have this piece of hardware in my pc. knowing that i own the cutting edge and will be able to really enjoy high quality titles like supreme commander for another few years makes it worth the money, and the hassle.
RPGW1ZaRD I'm having a major difficult time to choose between these boards. The goal I'm trying to achieve is E6750 @ 3.7~3.8GHz (463~475 FSB) with 1.55v in BIOS max on a Tuniq Tower 120. Don't wanna spend more than what is required but pretty much all of these are good overclockers, just interested to see which one gets most votes in this forum as for me it's really a coin toss which would have to decide it for me. xD
Hard core Rikki 1 - You can use a dynamic microphone as cheap speakers. Dont be expecting stereo, though. A higher quality microphone, or one using bigger 3 inches jacks or XLR could even match some speakers.
The other way around is also possible. Speakers can be used as if they were a microphone (better speakers give surprisingly good sound recording, ask mire or tcos, was in the post your voice thread)
You only need to reverse the jacks for it to work, end. Speaker jacks into miccropjone plug, and microphone jack into speaker plug.
2 - In case your laptop's keyboard fails, dont you consider throwing it, the keyboard is usually detachable, and can be replaced for as cheap as 40 dollars.
tuanming Try running that test more than one time FYI, I have a perfect 21 second 0.21.00 why, you ask? Simple, because rams or memory don't always run correctly due to a unstable overclock thus .i always get a perfect 21 second on a unstable overclock. With a stable overclocked i get a real result around 22 or 23 i forgot..
I hate to say this but a 2.4GHz stock Conroe that does a 21 sec on Superpi is simply unrealistic! You can fool the other but you can't fool me! Unless you have good ram with right timing...but that a maybe not a guarantee! By the way, you're using a older version of Superpi...Try the Superpi mod1.5 XS, it give the millisecond!
MrPink yeah, i am at 2.42GHz stable right now. my idle temps are around 40C and load is 50 to 57C i think. it is a shame though, because i have researched and discovered that both the AM2 and 939 models can tolerate temps of up to 70C. Knowing that i had that much headroom for temps, i would love to go higher. but 2.53GHz was the absolute highest i could go, anything after would give BSOD. i am not even sure if i would like going higher anyway, because i have already had to bump my RAM up to 216MHz(DDR 433) to keep up with the processor, and in order to do this i had to loosen up the timings a bit. on top of all this the 4400+ i have has a locked multiplier so i am satisfied with a 200MHz OC.
i am very envious of you core 2 duo owners, the multipliers for that whole line of processors must be unlocked in order for people to hit those crazy speeds so easily(3.6GHz?! ). anyway, despite my intentions of keeping my 939 platform throughout college, i will probably upgrade to a LGA755 platform before graduating high school, since ddr2 and good 755 motherboards are so cheap now. for now i will see how well i can run bioshock .
